Earlier tonight, The Drudge Report claimed that the New York Daily News was going to publish a “political bombshell” in tomorrow’s edition. Well the bombshel is that newly sworn-in New York Governor and his wife have admitted to each having extramarital affairs.
This will not kill Governor Paterson’s career and force him to resign since there seems to be no illegal actions on his part, but if he has to, State Senate Majority Leader Joe Bruno (who is under investigation by the FBI for money laundering and other crimes) would assume the duties of Governor of the State of New York.
