John McCain’s search for a running mate has taken him to Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA), a pick that has been floated by House Republicans for many months. Cantor, 45, has been asked to provide numerous personal documents to the McCain campaign for the purpose of being vetted.
While the majority of the pundits on the Sunday shows said that this was a serious look at a legitimate VP pick on McCain’s part; it could also be a way for Senator McCain to placate House Republicans.
