The Centrist Voice is a blog devoted to providing insight, analysis and opinion on the latest political news in the United States. Our contributors range from moderate to liberal in their political beliefs, but they all recognize the need for compromise and and centrist views in the political arena. They adhere to the belief that the Democrats aren’t always right and the Republicans aren’t always wrong.
Our work has been featured in US News & World Report’s Washington Whispers, C-SPAN’s Presidential Debate Hub, C-SPAN’s Vice Presidential Debate Hub, and South Dakota’s largest newspaper The Argus Leader.
CONTRIBUTORS:
JAlan is The Centrist Voice’s primary contributor and covers all major political news. Having worked for both republicans and democrats on Capitol Hill and in campaigns, JAlan brings extensive knowledge of political strategy and communications to The Centrist Voice. As a moderate democrat, JAlan is not afraid to call out the Democratic Party (and does so when it is deserved). JAlan’s got friends in every town and village from here to the Sudan, speaks a dozen languages, knows every local custom and gets you the story you need to know.
Ms. Nikki is a regular contributor to The Centrist Voice who monitors the Midwest. She was embedded in Denver to cover the 2008 Democratic National Convention and now monitors voter attitudes toward more superficial aspects of politics. In addition to this, Ms. Nikki writes a regular column called, Angry Black Woman that is part Oprah, part Star Jones and part Shirley Chisholm.
Doctor T is a Brit who teaches American politics to Americans. He spends a lot of time trying to persuade students that Americans are NOT stupid, and trying to get them to see that the civics they learned in High School, not in the least about the Electoral College, has little to do with the way American politics really works.

I’m quite impressed with your blog. Your interest in actually investigating news stories – not just skimming the surface – matches my own political concern. Perhaps you would like to add my site (http://worldopinion.wordpress.com) to your blogroll if I add yours?
